Constipation is a very common digestive disorder that affects people of all ages. Constipation causes difficulty passing stools and may even lead a person to strain too much to empty the excessively hard stools.
Main causes of constipation are poor diet, insufficient water intake, lack of physical activity, weakness of abdominal muscles, hemorrhoids, stress, intake of certain medications, and laxative abuse.
Tips
Lemon: Add Lemon juice in warm water and add pinch of rock salt. Drinking this early in the morning in empty stomach may reduce this problem.
Honey:Consumption of honey everyday 2-3 times also cures this problem.
Fibre food:In take of more fibre food also reduces this problem. Fiber included in Kidney Beans, Barley, Dried Figs etc,
Raisins: Soak few raisins in water for over night and take it next day early morning on empty stomach.
Apart from these home remedies there are many Ayurvedic (Triphala, Madhu Yashthayadi Choorna etc) and Homoeopathic (Bryonia, Nuxvomica,Sulphur etc) medicines are availabe on market. Use those medicines under doctor supervision to avoid this problem.
Always follow doctor suggestion in serious condition.
